Automatically provides updates to the classic F-PROT for DOS antivirus program and notifies you about it. This F-PROT updater / update utility has other extras and features, including:

* Update of the antivirus definitions of F-PROT for DOS. The update frequency is user-customizable according to preference;
* Check for new releases of the antivirus engine and facilitate its installation/update;
* Creation of a configurable set of emergency disks (compressed, hassle-free automatic usage, minimal set creation mode);
* Creation of a universally usable general-purpose FreeDOS antivirus bootdisk (thanks to FreeDOS, F-PROT for DOS and XMSDSK!). The bootdisk can be created on any version of Windows, even on those which do not come with a full-fledged DOS, e.g. Windows NT, XP, Server 2003. The bootdisk is accelerated via RAM storage, which can be resized without rebooting thanks to XMSDSK.
